Our Spring (member only) Derby is coming up on May 27th.

Club member and local fishing guide Bruno Bauer opened a fishing tackle shop to help make fishing affordable again.
Support Aqua Tackle and get some huge savings on all your fishing tackle and custom buiilt prawn/crab traps!

Our Annual BBQ is on June 24th! We get together for a Salmon BBQ, award Derby Trophies and giveaway draw prizes. It's a fun day to hangout with members, share stories and discuss your plans for the summer. More details will be available closer to the date.

Our Annual Smoked Salmon Night is on November 26th! Members share smoked salmon, deserts, salads and other goodies. We have a short meeting to vote for new our executive and discuss other issues. It is held at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney. More details will be available closer to the date.

Want to learn more about salmon and halibut fishing in the Sidney and Saanich Inlet? Join the Sidney Anglers Association to meet with experienced anglers who know these waters and share fishing advice at our monthly general meetings. Take part in our fishing derbies, Annual BBQ and Annual Smoked Salmon Night.

You can join the Sidney Anglers by coming to one of our General Meetings.

Our General Meetings are held at the Mary Winspear Centre (Sancha Hall) in Sidney at 7:30pm on the fourth Monday of every month from September - June (no meeting in July, August or December). Meetings usually feature a guest speaker speaking on such topics as fishing methods, equipment, boat safety, enhancement and other areas of interest.
